Granny's Blueberry Pie

Ingredients:


Crust

  • 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour

  • 1/3 cup shortening

  • Enough milk to make a soft dough


Filling

  • 1 qt of blueberries

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 2 1/2 cups of sugar

  • 1/3 cup water


Steps:

  1. Combine the ingredients for the crust and roll them out

  2. Cook filling until thick and pour into crust

  3. Back at 425* until golden brown
