About Us
Operating a vibrant market garden on a compact 0.1-acre city property, I cultivate approximately 1,000 square feet dedicated to growing fresh, flavorful produce. Since starting in May last year, my focus has been on sustainable, no-till gardening practices without the use of synthetic fertilizers or sprays. This approach allows the soil to thrive naturally and supports healthy, nutrient-dense crops.
This year, I’m specializing in tomatoes and peppers, with secondary crops including cucumbers, squash, cantaloupe, and herbs. Tomatoes begin harvesting at the end of May, ramping up through mid-June and continuing at full production through the end of the market season. Peppers follow, starting mid-June and peaking by mid-July, with ongoing harvests until season’s close. While cucumbers, squash, melons, and herbs are new ventures, I aim to have fresh selections available weekly, adding variety and excitement to the garden’s offerings.
